Interactive Sessions
What?
For my interactive sessions, I bring to you myself in full period costume, and a selection of props, which the audience can interact with, to a greater or lesser degree, as well as an info board detailing contemporary sources and archaeological finds.
When?
I can offer sessions in the evening, at the weekend, and during school holidays.
Where?
I will work for/at organisations (such as the Women's Institute or Scouts), venues (such as Moyses Hall Museum or West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village), and events (such as village fetes). Indoors or outdoors.
Who?
Depending on the session - most are suitable for ages 7 years and upwards. Other ages would need parental support or supervision. Some of the information/tasks may not be suitable for the very young.

Choose your session type:
Talk (show and tell) or Teaching sessions that cover a whole day. Suitable for historic venues, stately homes, village fete's, museums, libraries, etc.
Again - for venues; If you just want me to interact with people while walking about, without actually doing much!
Schools (not available right now - sorry!)
Sessions on Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, or Medieval Medicine for KS1, 2, and 3. Pre-set or bespoke day options.
Talks
Preset interactive (show and tell) sessions with a table of props that I talk about.
Tasting (Time Travelling Cook)
Preset sessions tasting food and drink from historic recipes.
Preset sessions learning a historic technique, craft or skill.
